Fashion Blogger Interview!

Since we always blog about books and all I decided to do something different for Lite-Rate-Ture. I will be featuring Crossing Borders hosted by Jia Nicole. She's a fabulous girl who has a unique taste in clothes. She's a reader and she has an addiction for fashion.

Me: Hi Jia it's so nice to finally meet a fashion blogger considering that I'm a book blogger.

Jia: Hi Chyna! The feeling is mutual. I'm so glad to be having this interview with you. Thank you so much for      featuring me in your blog(considering lite-rate-ture is actually a book blog). I mean it's my first time to be featured and interviewed. I'm so nervous.  

Me: Who introduced you to the world of blogging or who might have inspired you?

Jia: There are actually a lot of fashion bloggers who have inspired me like, Tricia Gosingtian, Camille Co, Aria Clemente, Rhea Bue, theriverwolf. I guess it's because of the fact that they can make anything look good on them no matter what the style is, and they can make clothes they wear seem one of a kind(even though it's not) by mixing it with each other.

Me: Has it been a challenge adjusting to the blogging world?

Jia: Yeah it certainly is. I mean, sometimes I just can't seem to find anything to write about, even though I already have the pictures ready. It's actually feels so weird that I have a lot on my mind but I can't seem to find the words to describe them, so I end up writing nothing but a few sentences.

Me: Have you ever thought of getting cobloggers to help you? Even I have problems working alone so I got summer partners for my blog till I find the perfect candidate for a permanent partner to help me out.

Jia: Yeah, but as of now I don't think anyone would want to work with me just yet because I'm still new to this, you know? If someone would want to be a co-blogger, they's most probably choose a fashion blog with super high stats and a load of readers. Hopefully, I'd find one soon enough, 

Me: Are you also a reader? If yes, what genre do you read?

Jia: Yes, yes I am! I'm a sucker for books, I mean, it's like they bring me into a different world and I feel like I become the main character of the book. I love romantic-comedy! I hate to admit it but I'm actually a wattpad addict. 

Me: Could you tell us more about fashion?

Jia: For me, fashion is expressing yourself through what you wear. It's not exactly fashion if you just follow the trends you see everyone wearing. Fashion is how you express the way you feel at the moment, and it's another way to show your personality to those around you.  

Me: What has been the best thing that has happened to you as a newbie in the fashion world?

Jia: The best thing is probably meeting other bloggers, like you! Oh! And doing collaborations with online shops. My blog will actually be having it's first giveaway next week! So stay tuned, ladies! 

Me: Has there been any problems for you lately?

Jia: As much as I don't want to admit it, yes. One of my friends has been encouraging me to stop blogging, she has her reasons. I know she's doing it for me but, it really hurts considering she's one of my closest friends, and I thought that she'd be supporting me instead of the other way around. 

Me: Have you ever thought of becoming a designer? Many book cover models wear the best gowns to produce eye-catching novels.

Jia: Actually no, I mean, when I was 8 years old it was my dream, but things changed, and I've never thought of it ever since. 

Me: If you weren't a fashion blogger what would you have become?

Jia: I don't actually know yet, I don't fully consider myself as a fashion blogger, I just think I'm a girl who loves to share my style with other people. It's still too early for me to know what I really want, ask me 2 years later, maybe by the time, I would have the answer to that:) 

Me: What advice would you give to your followers?

Jia: Don't be afraid to follow your dreams, I know a lot of us are afraid to do that because we're afraid of failure. All I've got to say is failure leads to success,it may take time, but in the future it would all be worth it. And don't think too much of what other people would say. All of us have different opinions and point of views, so you won't be able to please each and every single person around you. 

Me: What kinds of clothes do you usually wear?

Jia: I wear what I feel like wearing. Like I said fashion is a way to express your feelings, so yeah. it depends on how I feel and where I'm about to go. 
 
Me: What is the most embarrassing thing you have ever done?

Jia: It's embarrassing! Why would I tell you and everyone of your readers! HAHAHA. I'm sorry guys but I won't answer that for the mean time.

Me: Black or pink?

Jia: Pink!
 
Me: What is your biggest fear?

Jia: All kinds of insects! Even butterflies!
 
Me: Any regrets so far?

Jia: No regrets at the moment:))

Me: Twitter or facebook?

Jia: Both. I'm a sucker for social networking.

Me: Pants or skirts?

Jia: Shorts! Hahaha.
