At the start of the story I was completely bored out of my mind. The story was a bit slow paced, that it seemed like nothing was happening. There were always some parts that were irrelevant in the story. Some parts were a bit humorous because I chuckled a bit. Some just made me yawn. Maybe the author was bi-polar.(LOL)
The thrill of the story started in the middle, I couldn't stop reading. I kept thinking who the murderer was. Instead of detectives searching for the killer, the two untrained priests got involved in this macabre. They also had there assistants, Joanna and Leo. Without their help the could have never found the right culprit.
The ending made me more relaxed. When I was reading the book, my back was on straight, I had no idea why. Maybe because it got more intriguing. I was able to lie back against my chair and breathe. Oh how I was glad for the priests that they have finally found the killer after many many investigations. But some parts we re a bit cliched.
Father J was the smartest and most humorous for me, I can't believe he's 56 yet he's extremely attractive to some young women. Father G was cool too. If he wasn't there Father J won't be as interesting as he really is. They also had there two loyal assistants, Joanna and Leo. Without their help they couldn't get this far and the story would have no ending. Joanna had an unusual life BG, I never expected her to be a "READ IT", it was very shocking indeed. The killer whom I won't say is my favorite character. He stood out the most in the story, the killer was intelligent and clever. He was different among the others. He killed then he hid then he killed then he hid. It's the usual pattern. The killer portrayed a deep personality and a horrible childhood. The author added some scenes where we can actually think and feel like the killer. I pitied him, his BG is something your mind won't forget. ESPECIALLY the REASON why he kills innocent children. It's forEVER etched in my memory. It just gives me the chills!!!!!
Over all I give this story a standing ovation. The mystery and macabre were both blended well, in fact I am willing to give this story my 4 expensive wine glass.
Would you like a drink?
-Stay tuned
