Q: What writing device or trick most irritates you when reading a book? For example, if an author employs an omnipotent narrator that is sometimes considered bad form.
What irritates me is the too much detailing. Sometimes some authors tend to go overboard I'm not sure if they just want to use more paper for their book or they just really want to bore their readers. For example I read a book that kept describing this gown and the author used one whole paragraph for it.
There are also times when they change POVs too much that I get so confused with it. And also some authors make it sooooooooooo fast pace -______-
