Q: Have you broken up with a series? If so which one and why?
I'm not sure how to answer that question, but the series I used the love was Blood red road then after reading the sequel, Rebel Heart, I poured out all my hatred for that series. It completely changed my world.
Haven't read that one. Now following you via bloglovin' too. Happy Friday! :D

I like this series... Rebel Heart wasn't as good as Blood Red Road. But I still enjoyed it. I wonder where the third book will take us?

I've never heard of this series before but the cover looks like an interesting action-type.
ReplyDeleteNever heard of this series before. And now I don't think I'll even try it.

I loved Blood Red Road, but I have seen quite a few bad reviews for its sequel, and now I am scared, lol.

Legend by Marie Lu is an example. Like so many other trilogies, once again, there's a love triangle/square. I'm getting really tired of those...Is this seriously all the authors can come up with to inject drama into their second books?
ReplyDeleteVeronica Roth didn't need a triangle to create friction in the romance between her leads and I thought that was perfect.
If the main characters are so in love with each other (and in some books, they are destined to be), then why do they keep having all these other love interests? And all in the 2nd book?
Sorry, rant over. Good question though...
Whyy??? I haven't read RH yet, and I was really anticipating on reading it. I loved BRR and it was disappointing to know that RH is not as good as BRR. :((
