My thoughts...

This is my first time reading about a cyborg, when I define cyborg I imagine a dull, lifeless robot, but hell! Marissa Meyer just changed my opinion. I postulate that you will fall hard for CINDER. I've heard and seen Cinder quite a few times in my local bookstore and I was reluctant to grab my own copy, but then I heard that there was going to be a sale so what the heck...THEN AFTER READING CINDER. "WHAT THE FUUUUCK IS WRONG WITH ME?!?! WHY DID I JUST READ THIS NOW?!?!" I have sinned.

THE STORY IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL, FELICITOUS AND ENCHANTING!

A retelling of Cinderella's story just placed my thoughts to a whole new level. I felt somewhat emotional in the story. A variety of emotions just smashed together and just exploded. I swiftly flipped the pages until I was close to the end...I was begging for more. When the story ended...I bewailed inside my room. My mom watched me ruefully, but I could hear her soft chuckles. You know that feeling when you've just experienced an emotional thrill but everyone is just continuing with their lives not knowing you just had a dramatic moment in the hands of a paperback.

I was not happy. THE ENDING killed me! Why do authors love to make us GASP or CRY. Huhuhu. My heart has shattered :((

We are guided by Cinder into a whole knew level of technology, cruelty and drama. She works her butt of as a mechanic in New Beijing, China. This was my first time reading a setting that was circled around China plus the moon. Cinder was just working...hammering...day dreaming about how to kill her snake-hearted of a stepmother. Then she meets Kai...Ooolala! How sublime! I can sense the oozing attraction between them. Because of Kai's android breaking down, Cinder has been hired to find out what's wrong with the machine, but as she plays mechanic she also plays with Prince Kai. LOL As the story goes on, the country suffers a serious plague that has been haunting them for years. The stepsister, Peony gets diseased. Cinder blames herself for Peony's misfortune, and Adri plus Pearl (The other sister) continues to ruin Cinder's life to get revenge for Peony. As Cinder faces her problems, Kai also has problems of his own. His dying father just placed a heavy burden on Kai's shoulders. It seems that the only way to save his people from this plague and war was to have an intermarriage with Queen Levana....NOOOOOOOOO! *Shock moment*

I really hate Adri's guts! Especially Pearl's! Marissa really knows how to piss of her readers when she wants to, I felt the emotions of the characters...I connected with each and one of them. A normal writer can't simply force her readers to connect with her characters, I allowed myself to be pushed into the story therefore putting myself in an emotional shock. A definite page turner! *Nods*

Cinder
I really love her from head to toe even though she is only about 70% human and the rest are metal. I love her! I want to cry, I'm not ashamed :(( I will fangirl to my friends about this book. Cinder is now my new favorite protagonist, she's brave, thoughtful, smart, loving and strong. I don't care if she can't blush or cry real tears, I will cry for her. *Cries a bucket of tears*

Prince Kai
Swoon worthy. *drools over his sexy eyes* It was kinda irritating that he was such a responsible prince, he couldn't care less about himself as long as his country is safe. I want to smack his senses back to normal, it couldn't hurt to at least care more about yourself. It was still admiring. In the story there were some scenes that made me laugh and chuckle in my reading corner. Marissa is a bit humorous in a way. Reading Prince Kai's teasing just made it more enjoyable for me to read.

Adri
Do I even want to talk about her? UGH! No ew ew ew. Stupid ugly stepmom! Go to Hell!
*Skips*

Queen Levana
She was a surprise character in the story, the antagonist. She's an evil witch (worse than Adri) who will stop at nothing just for power and beauty. She hates looking at mirrors because you know *Flips hair* Mirrors don't lie, dearies. ;) Having Levana in the story made Cinder's story very dynamic. I'm grateful to you, Levana. "If it weren't for you, Cinder will have no one to humiliate"(JOKE)

To end my review.
The plot was made beautifully and the characters were fulfilling. There was no dull moment, the whole time I was on my chair *Back straight* My eyes were focused on the pages, I couldn't blink nor breathe. I love all the characters and the drama. YUMMY! This is something I would read everyday. Are you looking for a good book or a Hell-fucking-awesome-sexy book? If you are, grab this book now or face my wrath!

Shit! ugh! Why did it have to end?!?!?

The story had a rude awakening and a killer cliffhanger! I really need scarlet in my shelf right now. *Puppy eyes to Marissa*

Marissa Meyer will edify and enchant her readers. 5 golden stars for you!
