Q: Do you mind books with similar ideas to other books? Similar concepts, backgrounds, retellings or pulled-to-publish fanfic?


OMG! Do I have to spell it out? I seriously hate those kinds of books I mean there are so many ideas for an author to write and they keep writing the same stories like the usual vampire and human forbidden romance. I love romance books but I get really bored and the ending is soooo cliche. I need something new and fresh not some wannabe. The books I read are ORIGINAL ideas so I believe they deserve credit for it. I don't support plagiarism and copycats. They always give the excuse "OMG I also had that idea!"  Just stop it dude. -____-

    Agreed. When they do the same thing over and over again with no (or almost no) variance whatsoever, it gets really annoying. Great blog! New follower via GFC. My FFs are at Musings on Fantasia and LKHill. Happy Friday! :D

    Hopping through. I'm pretty generous with stories, even if they are similar to prior books. As long as it doesn't feel too copied, I still enjoy it. new follower!
